RechargeNZ Warranty & Return Conditions
Thank you for choosing RechargeNZ. We stand behind the quality of our batteries and offer the following warranty terms:
Warranty Period
- All batteries are covered by a 12-month warranty for Li-ion/Li-polymer batteries and a 6-month warranty for Ni-MH/Ni-CD batteries, effective from the date of purchase.
Definition
- Products found defective within the warranty period are eligible for RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) returns.
Procedure
- The warranty does not cover damage due to misuse, accidental damage, overloading, negligence, abuse, modifications, improper setup, unauthorized repairs, improper testing, exposure to extreme temperatures/humidity, power surges, power loss, natural disasters, or other unpredictable factors.
- Warranty is void if the product has been modified or repaired by anyone other than Cameron Sino technicians.
- Damage arising from misuse, abuse, or accidents during product transportation is also excluded.
- Products missing or with damaged Cameron Sino labels or date codes are not covered.
- If the returned product is found to function properly after testing, no replacement will be provided, and return shipping and handling fees for non-defective products are the customer’s responsibility.
- We cannot guarantee receipt of returned items and do not assume liability if they are not received.
- The shipping of batteries is strictly regulated. Please ensure returns are well-packaged to avoid damage. Items that arrive in poor condition or show signs of modification may not qualify for a refund or exchange.
- All returns must be individually and securely packaged; otherwise, the return may be rejected. RechargeNZ is not responsible for damages occurring during transit, and all associated risks and costs are borne by the customer.
Incorrectly Ordered Products
- RechargeNZ is not liable or responsible for products incorrectly ordered by the customer. While we are happy to assist and guide you in the right direction, it is the purchaser's responsibility to ensure the correct product is selected by cross-referencing product codes, models, and other specifications with the intended device. Unfortunately, we cannot process refunds or returns for incorrectly ordered products, so please double-check your order details before purchasing.
Return Process
- Complete the RMA form and contact our support team.
- Include the following information:
- Returned Item(s)
- Quantity
- Date code
- Detailed description of the return reason
- After submission, RechargeNZ will review the RMA and inform you of eligible items.
- Return shipping costs for RMA cases are the responsibility of the customer. A return label is not provided. Tracking information should be sent to our support team for reference.
- Upon receiving and inspecting your return, we will notify you by email regarding replacement or rejection.
- RechargeNZ assumes no liability for costs or losses should the battery product cause defects in connected devices.
- Return shipping costs for are the responsibility of the customer.
Date Code
- Cameron Sino batteries include a date code indicating the manufacturing date. This code is essential for warranty validation.
Shipping Costs

Damage during transportation: If the product is damaged during shipping, please notify the shipping agent immediately.
Replacement Orders
- Cameron Sino provides replacement orders for products found to be faulty within the warranty period. If a product is determined to be defective after inspection, a replacement will be issued. Please note that RechargeNZ does not offer credit or refunds for faulty products; replacements are the only option available as per above terms
Handling Costs
- Non-defective returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee. If the returned item is found functional after testing, it will be processed as a non-defective return.
